Why is a Business BCeID not showing up in the user search?

 

Users with a Business BCeID must ensure their ID has been set up properly to be seen in the User Searches in ADAM.  If the ID is not set up appropriately, other users will not be able to successfully award the user a Delegation and/or Authorization.  If you are trying to find a Business BCeID in ADAM and cannot, advise the user of the problem with their Business BCeID.

 

The Business Profile Manager (BPM) for the company is responsible for setting the Business Preference which determines whether or not the Business BCeID can be seen in ADAM.  The BPM must ensure that he/she has selected "I consent to BCeID sharing my business contact information with Online Services registered with BCeID" in the Information Sharing Options section of their settings.

 

Application Administrators and Authorization Grantors will now be able to locate the Business BCeID in ADAM.
